FBI offering $50K for information leading to arrest of Washington murder suspect spotted in Minneapolis — Crystal Community news

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has increased its reward for information leading to the arrest of a man accused of murdering a man and seriously hurting a woman in Washington over 20 years ago. Investigators say Liban Abdulkadir Sheikh was spotted in Minneapolis after allegedly forcing his way into a Lakewood, Wash., apartment on Nov. 27, 2002, and shooting a man in the back six times, killing him. Law enforcement says Sheikh also shot the man s girlfriend twice in the back and the leg, leaving her injured. A $50,000 reward is being offered in exchange for information leading to his arrest. It s unclear when Sheikh was seen in Minnesota. Sheikh has been charged via warrant with one count each of first-degree murder, first-degree assault and first-degree burglary, the FBI said. A federal arrest warrant for Sheikh was also issued in December of 2002 for one count of unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Sheik is a 5-foot-11-inch man who may also go by Nor Abdulkadi
