Keep MinnPost Free: Support Independent Journalism — MinnPost, Crystal Health news

I remember when I first moved from Fargo, North Dakota to the Twin Cities for college, MinnPost was an integral part of my news intake. I liked how it broke down and made complex topics easier to understand for both Minnesotans and out-of-state residents who wanted to learn more about our state. Now, I love being able to provide that important service for our readers. I cover community health, and thus far have reported on things like the efforts to keep Hennepin County Medical Center open, federal cuts to local teenage pregnancy prevention programs and a possible impending ban on the gas station drug kratom — all important topics that Minnesotans deserve in-depth reporting about. Your support is crucial to that work. And our work is needed now more than ever. As we enter our 20th year of publication next year, MinnPost will continue to operate as a free, independently-run nonprofit. We aren’t bound to a political organization or parent group, and any outside organizations we do take funding from do not have any say in our stories. MinnPost has always been paywall-free, and we want to keep it that way. But keeping this crucial work free of charge cannot happen without your generous support. Will you consider supporting MinnPost for our Fall Member Drive? Yes! I’ll donate now P.S. The fundraising team told me that we’re almost 60% of the way to our Fall Member Drive goal. Will you make a donation right now to help us get there by Friday? Related
